Wedding Photography at The Bay Tree, Burford
I met with Simon and Erika at the venue a year prior to their big day. I knew from our rapport that this was going to be a great day filled with love and laughter. After taking photos of the Bridal preparations in Carterton, I moved onto The Bay Tree and joined the Groom and his party for the stroll down to Burford Church for the service. The sun was shining brightly as we walked through the pretty village, which was full of smiling onlookers. I mentioned to the Groom that I would like to speak to the Vicar with regards to my positioning, as there is often a standard protocol with Church Weddings. I was assured that I could do whatever I wanted because the Vicar was his father! That’s certainly a first for me and made for such a warm and heartfelt service.
After the beautiful Ceremony, the Wedding party walked back up through the town, much to the amusement of the many tourists that visit the historical town. Once back at The Bay Tree, the party got into full swing and a great time was had by all.
Simon & Erika chose a great venue, and the amazing staff and guests created a fabulous atmosphere. This very special day will stay in the memories of all who attended for many years to come.
